CONCEPT & THEME BUILDING

A concept is a lens from which to focus design direction and creative decision making.  Themes are used to create mood boards, color pallets, and fabric/trim direction.  They also aid in early consensus building between design and merchandising teams. Developing a solid concept and theme are both critical in articulating a brand’s point of view.

Concept illustration achieves many goals, it is a critical step to ideation and product exploration, allowing for last minute changes and edits before time is spent building technical packages.  In addition, it is a great way to show how a product line will come together in its final state.
